How far in advance should I order my wedding cake?
- You can reserve your wedding date with Bake Me Happy as soon as you would like!! If you need delivery on your big day, we do recommend the sooner the better as many popular days fill up quickly. Unlike most bakeries, we do limit our deliveries to ensure the best quality product to all our customers. If you are worried about your date filling up, a $50 deposit will secure your delivery spot with the bakery and ensure that we are available for your big day!!
What is the price range for your wedding cakes?
- Our tiered cakes are priced per serving and start at $3.75/serving. Additional costs may include things like fondant, intricate designs, and specialty dietary restrictions. We also offer cupcakes and dessert buffets.

What can I expect at a complimentary consultation?
- During our consultations, the bride and groom get the opportunity to try samples of our most popular flavors. If you have any photographs of cakes that you enjoy, color swatches, or any other elements that you would like to incorporate in the design of your cake, bring those with you. Our wedding cake consultant will design out your dream cake and provide a price quote for your desserts. Our tastings usually last around forty-five minutes. We recommend that no more then two or three people attend our tastings. Bake Me Happy understands that wedding planning is a very exciting time but having more people at a consultation typically draws out the decision-making process. If you would like to have more then three people at your tasting, please call ahead of time and ensure we have enough room and samples for your guests, a fee may occur.
- Please be on time for your tasting as we often have another eager couple scheduled for a consultation following yours. If you feel you will be more then a couple of minutes late, please call and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment. Please be aware, as Saturdays are the most popular days for both weddings and consultations, these days book up very quickly. If you happen to miss a Saturday appointment, we will gladly reschedule it on a Wednesday-Friday.
Can I have multiple flavors for my wedding cake?
- Yes! We know that deciding between many of our delicious flavors is a difficult process, so we allow for each of the tiers to be a different flavor. All of our flavors are the same cost!! On the other hand, having too many choices may prove to be difficult on the day of, therefore we typically recommend that the couple limits their flavor choices to 3-4.
Can you deliver my wedding cake?
- Delivery for tiered cakes often involves set up. This can include, stacking a cake, piping work, sugar work, placing fresh flowers, and arranging the cake table. For quality control, unlike many other bakeries, Bake Me Happy does limit their wedding deliveries to three per day.
- We deliver any where in the triad and there is a delivery fee based on distance from the store front in Madison, NC.

Does Bake Me Happy offer cake stands to place my wedding cake on?
- Of course!! Bake Me Happy prides ourselves on having a vast and unique set of stands in which we rent out to our couples for their wedding. The cost of renting a stand from us ranges from $15-$45.
- If you would like to rent a stand from us, we do require a deposit check. To avoid the loss of a deposit check, the stand must be returned to the storefront in Madison the week following your wedding.
Should I save my top tier for our one-year anniversary?
- At Bake Me Happy, all our couples are given the option of receiving a freshly made 6-inch cake of any flavor-choice to enjoy on their one-year anniversary at absolutely no cost!! This allows for the couple to not only utilize their entire cake on the day of their wedding, but they also get to enjoy a delicious non-freezer burnt cake on their anniversary!!
- To place your free anniversary cake order, email or call the store one-two weeks prior to your anniversary and let us know what flavor you would like to enjoy.
Can we pick up our cake to avoid a delivery charge?
- For sure!! While we do not recommend this for a larger cake, if you are planning a smaller cake or a cutting cake and cupcakes, picking up your wedding cake is a wonderful way to save some money!!
